Our PGA Professional staff developed this four-tiered program, and whether your child is just starting or wants to play competitively, we have a program that will fit their skill level. The starting point in our junior golf program is dependent on your child’s previous golf experience and our professional staff can help you determine this.

The junior golfer progresses through our program at their own pace as their skill level and comfort improve. The levels are based on skill level and experience, rather than age.

The SCGA Foundation’s Youth Course Program

The Golf Club at Rancho California is a participating golf facility in the SCGA Foundations Youth On Course program. This program creates affordable access to golf for youth by establishing $1-$4 green and range fees at our golf course during off-peak hours. Our Little Linker Club and Junior Members Club members are encouraged to become certified by the SCGA Foundation for golf rules, etiquette, maturity, and ability. Your SCGA/Ghin number is acquired upon joining one of our clubs. Use this number to log-in at SCGA Foundation.org and begin the certification process. Once certified, a bag tag will be issued. This bag tag must be presented at participating golf facilities to receive golf discounts.

We believe that golf teaches integrity, character, and responsibility in a way that few activities can match. With affordable access to golf, the game will continue to grow, but more importantly, youth will have the opportunity to experience the life skills that it teaches on a regular basis.

If you want more information for the Youth on Course certification process or to get a list of participating facilities please go to SCGA
